FAQs
WAR ROOM — common questions
Do I need an account?
No. WAR ROOM runs in your browser without sign-up. Progress and unlocks are stored locally on your device (browser storage). Clearing site data may reset career progress.
Why did my unlocks disappear?
Unlocks and score are tied to this browser profile. Private/incognito mode, a new device, clearing cookies/storage, or a different browser will not carry over the same save.
What is the difference between aircraft and launcher mode?
Aircraft — you fly a jet, dodge threats, and strike with guns/missiles/drones depending on the frame. Launcher — you operate a ground battery with auto, manual, or guided shots (and swarm drones for the Hivemind launcher). See Controls.
How do missions unlock?
Missions generally unlock in sequence when you complete the previous one. Higher missions add tougher air defences, more SAM sites, and on the hardest tiers, faster enemy AI behaviour and extra threats such as hostile drone waves from the enemy base.
Is this based on a real war?
No. WAR ROOM is a fictional arcade-style simulator. It is not tied to real battlefields, nations, or classified systems.
Why do I see ads?
Ads help support hosting and development. They appear on menu and lobby areas, not during live combat. See Privacy for notes on third-party ad services.
Where is the full key list?
The first time you launch a sortie, the in-game Controls Briefing lists every binding for your current loadout. After that, the game can skip straight to combat; use this site's Controls page anytime.
