Overview
Armored Strike rewards positioning. Your hull rotates separately from your turret, so you can drive one way and fire another. Terrain is not paint on the floor — mud slows you, ice slips, sand drags. Pick the right tracks or pay for it.
Three chassis: Scout (fast, fragile, free), Brawler (balanced, $8,000), Juggernaut (5,000 HP, slow, $20,000). Three turret options: 30mm Autocannon (fast small hits, free), 105mm Rifled (the all-rounder, $8,000), 155mm Howitzer (devastating but huge recoil pushes the tank backward, $22,000). Three track types let you neutralise either mud or ice — but not both.
Upgrade tree: Hull, Engines, Gun Caliber, Radar — each up to 4 levels. Pilot level caps at 10.
How to play
- Choose chassis, turret and tracks before the mission.
- On the battlefield, drive hull with W/A/S/D, aim turret with the mouse, fire with click or Space.
- Use cover. Watch ricochets. Reload time is on the turret, not the chassis.
Controls
Why the turret matters more than the chassis
A 30mm Autocannon will out-DPS a 105mm if you are dancing in close range — fast reload, low recoil. The 155mm Howitzer feels great in theory but kicks the tank backward on every shot; you can shoot yourself out of an engagement. The 105mm is the dependable all-rounder.
Terrain trade-offs
Mud and ice both ruin standard treads. Wide Mud-Treads (5k) negate mud and sand. Spiked Ice-Chains (5k) give perfect grip on ice. You only get one — read the map before you buy.
Tips & strategy
- Hull and turret rotate independently. Practice driving toward cover while keeping the turret aimed at the threat.
- The 155mm Howitzer is a trap for new players — its recoil is real, and it ejects you out of firing position.
- Radar upgrade is cheap and helps you spot enemy tanks behind cover earlier.
- On ice missions, Spiked Ice-Chains feel like a different game. Worth the 5,000.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my Juggernaut feel sluggish even at full upgrades?
Juggernaut top speed (180) is hard-capped by the chassis. Engines upgrade only helps acceleration, not max speed.
Can I switch tracks between missions?
Yes — tracks are part of the loadout you pick before each sortie.
Are ricochets predictable?
Yes — small-caliber shots can ricochet off heavy armour at shallow angles. Aim flat into the target, not at a sliver.
